The Winter's Tale Book Cover

This project centered around everyday household objects. Taking something ordinary and making something extraordinary was the objective. A few twists and turns through the process. After the object was selected, photographed, and designed, then we had to put a play or book with our object! Trust me I thought I would really like this order, however shockingly I discovered that this order was significantly harder than I expected! So one lesson learned was that I need to appreciate the order by which information comes. However not getting too comfortable with designing anything I think is the real objective. Being able to design anything, in any order is certainly a plus professionally.
The question is would I have selected the same book or play if the order had been reversed? Most likely not. The Winter's Tale By: William Shakespeare
I also determined that the background color plays a large role in the mood of this design, all design but I thought it would be fun to give you variety. What background color do you prefer? Ask yourself why.
Now, just to mix it up a bit I thought I would provide two mockups with different angles and positions. Again, which do you prefer? I learned a lot about myself through this assignment. It was a lot of fun to learn about the process of accomplishing a task. Let me know how you like it.
